Can you tell he’s saying something douchey in panel 8? Because he’s saying something douchey in panel 8.
I was asked by Steve McCarthy to take part in the ‘Souvenir : Homecoming’ poster show/art trail happening in Dublin this Sunday 16th March.Artists were asked to respond to the phrase ‘are you coming or going’. Mine is based on living as an Irish artist in London where lots of great and exciting things are constantly happening but where it’s easy to feel on the periphery. There’s a tiny self portrait in the bottom right hand corner.Details of the exhibition are below, if you’re in Dublin it’s an opportunity to see some great work and maybe snag a bargain
SOUVENIR x OFFSET : HOMECOMING5 locations, 10 artists, 300 prints in 100 minutesstarting at 3pm on sunday 16th of march. The “SOUVENIR : HOMECOMING” poster show, an art trail only faster. We asked 10 artists to think about home, the one they left behind or the one they’re making, and then interpret the phrase “are you coming or going” the 10 posters created will be exhibited two by two in a call and response style in 5 of Dublin’s most beautifully designed independent businesses.Starting at Clement and pekoe on south william street and finishing at Tamp & Stitch in temple bar with a specially created food menu and home-brew presented by Gruel Guerilla.
